Nixon is an overall good dog but true to the Husky breed, he requires plenty of exercise and attention or he gets bored. We got him as an 8 week old puppy. He's 10 years old now. This is a difficult decision for us but we are not able to give him the attention he needs and we feel he is not happy. He's been trained through a 6 week off leash program by a very reputable trainer. He could use a bit of a refresher but he still knows his commands and would benefit greatly if the training is enforced. He is not bad with other dogs but he's very dominant and plays aggressively. As long as we've had him we've always had a cat and they've always gotten along with no problems. We have three young children and he's never been aggressive with them but does not have much interest in them. He has a good temperament but when bored he likes to get into mischief. We are looking for someone who has plenty of time to give Nixon the attention he needs, preferably someone with Husky experience.
