About Doc

Meet Doc! Can this guy be any cuter?! Doc came to Revolution Rescue from a shelter in KS where he was at risk of being euthanized. He is a Dachshund mix, just over a year old, and is a sturdy 20 pounds. In his stay with his foster family, they have discovered that Doc must not have had a lot of things to call his own in his previous life, because he sure likes to guard the things he has now! This is very challenging at times but his fosters are dedicated to helping him overcome his fear of loss. For this reason, Doc would be best in a home with those who will continue his training to be sure he stays on the right path. Even though he can be strong willed, he is super playful & is high energy--he runs laps around his foster fur-siblings in the back yard and he does well playing with kids, too! He is also very smart and has learned several commands in just a few short weeks! Doc is not fond of the kennel but does well being gated in his own space.
