About Noah

Adoption Fee: $250.00
Weimaraner
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Noah is a sweet loving weimaraner who is 7 yrs old that despite his past still loves people. Noah was found as a stray and came into the shelter with what is thought to either be a electric fence collar or some other shock collar. The shelter immediately pitched it and contacted us. In the 72 hr hold at the shelter Noah was attacked by other dogs in the play yard on the back of his neck and right ear. When we got him he was taken staight to the vet for care. He was a favorite at the clinic as he continued to give lots of kisses. He loves people and still trusts them despite his past. He knows some commands like sit, and down. He enjoys an occasional puppachino from starbucks. He is a small weim at approx 63 lbs, current on all vaccinations, neutered and micro chipped. He is a typical Weim that doesn't like to be left alone for hours on end he has already been subjected to that aspect. We are looking for a family that has time to invest in him. We do not crate any of our dogs and crating Noah would be a disaster so we are looking for a family that will not crate him. Noah like most weimaraners loves home comforts. At night time he will sleep on a sofa or a bed however he just loves to sleep on your bed he loves to be close to his humans. So if you do not like a dog on your furniture Noah is not for you. He definitely needs a home with a FENCED in yard he loves to run free and might jump a fence. Noah is terrified of loud sounds like gun shots and will run scared to get away from them so a hunter would not be a good match for Noah. We do not place our dogs in apartments, condos or townhomes. So, if you are a loving home and willing to spend time with Noah, he will return the love with so much more love. He is a great cuddler. Noah loves his food and after his potty outing in them mornings, he wants to eat immediately. Generally he will then sleep afterwards but he is very vocal until he is fed. He as most weims have a built in alarm clock for food. He is not a fast eater like some are, but we still feed in a semi slow bowl. We don't place our dogs in homes with cats.
