Think you know what an older dog like me can and can't do? Well think again! Though I have been judged as being approx. 8-9 years old, that hasn't stopped me. My foster angel can tell you that I am still very athletic. I LOVE a good hike, I can soar over a cattle guard, and I can also scale a 5ft gate. I am pretty sure I can keep up with you. But the benefit of me being a proper grown up dog is that I know my manners and I am really good with commands - plus you CAN teach an old dog new tricks (see the jumping over 5ft gates). I had a tough life and so now I like to be the alpha dog. I am ok if you have a dog, but I like to be the boss dog, though what do you expect from an experienced girl like me? I don't mind being the only dog in your world, and I enjoy being part of a family, though smaller kids are a bit much for me - I prefer them to be bigger, like the sulky age, that way I can lie with them and listen to their woes.
