About Pixel the Schnauzer

PIXEL is a cute little male schnauzer! He is a young guy with lots of energy and wants to play. He is very puppy'ish in his actions and silly ways - always wants to play or chew on fingers. Our vet estimates him to be about two years old. He is very playful and silly. He LOVES to play with other dogs, we hope to place him in a home with another dog to play with. He would not do well with cats. Because of his constant playfulness he would not do well with small children, older kids he would do great. Pixel would not do well in an apartment, he needs a yard to run and play. Pixel is white and has a docked tail. He weighs about 10 pounds and has been neutered, current on vaccines, dewormed, and tested for heartworms (negative). WE ARE IN ABILENE, TEXAS. WE DO NOT SHIP OR TRANSPORT OUR PETS, WE REQUIRE ADOPTERS MEET THE DOG TO MAKE SURE IT IS A GOOD FIT. NOTE: We are a rescue, the dogs are in foster homes. WE DO NOT HAVE A FACILITY THAT OPENS TO THE PUBLIC. We require an application BEFORE a potential adopter will be introduced to one of our pets. We contact vets to ensure that pets already in the adoptive home are current on vaccines, heartworm prevention and sterilized. We have gotten to know the pet and our goal is to make the best match, between pet and people. PLEASE be aware, we do not adopt out to a home that has an animal which has not been spayed or neutered.
