About King Arthur

ABOUT ME: Arthur is a certified dream boat! This 4 year old Cane Corso is not only a stunner, he's also a total snuggle bug who is very well mannered and laid-back. WHAT I NEED IN A HOME: We're still getting to know Arthur, but we think he would do well in a home with older children. Like most Cane Corsos, Arthur is very wary of strangers, and needs to be introduced to new people and visitors slowly. We were told that he was nice with other dogs in the shelter and he has been a gentleman with the other dogs here, so we expect he would do well in a home with large female dogs. He may even learn to love small dogs with the proper introduction! Arthur is pretty interested in the barn cats, and not in the right way, so we think a home without felines would fit him best. THE DETAILS: Arthur is housebroken, has mastered the dog door, and knows basic commands. He is crate-trained and working on his leash skills. Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting.
