About Stellar River Stix

Hi there, my name's River Stix 'cause I am known to be the absolute NICEST, SMARTEST boy in this jungle ~ and I even help Mare with the other dogs ! I'm an 18 month old neutered male American Staffordshire Terrier and Mare tells everyone that I'm THE BESTEST BOY in town, nothing but solid love and laughter through and through�'�| and I always loooooove a good laugh!!! I'm a CALM, quiet, EXTREMELY GENTLE boy who is known to be a TOTAL house dog, having lived my entire life indoors with my humans! I'm easy going indoors (and out) and always display impeccable manners, lounging quietly at your feet with a favorite toy to be the perfect companion. I enjoy long walks, evening strolls down quiet streets, touring in an automobile, and engaging in just about anything that makes you happy so that we can spend time together! I have a super stable, even temperament so I'm calm, HIGHLY INTELLIGENT, easy to train, SUPER AFFECTIONATE, extremely gentle and very WELL BEHAVED indoors knowing that's the place to be kicked back. I especially LOOOOVE children of all ages and I'm always and forever ready for a good belly rug from anyone who'll take the time to give me one ~ that's my favorite thing on earth! I make sure to announce the arrival of any strangers but I'm especially good with people and I particularly enjoy children! I have a heart of gold, learn really quickly and love to please my people. Mare says I'm the PERFECT breed ambassador, a GREAT companion and friend because I'm SUPER cooperative and have a heart as big as all outdoors. I'm just happy she's so pleased with me, but then I'm a HAPPY kinda guy anyway ~ bright and cheerful is what I'm all about! I'm also completely house, crate (though I certainly don't require one) and car trained, sit nicely for treats and doors without being asked and walk very politely on lead as a true gentleman should. I currently entertain and train my playmates, Trapper AND Elvira, showing those kiddos the ropes, but I've help several of the other dogs learn the rules and feel more comfortable here. I'm looking for a special person(s) or a family of my very own now so I can stick by your side(s) through thick and thin 'cause I'm the most LOYAL friend you'll ever encounter! I long to find the special person(s) who will appreciate my STERLING personality and the life time of devotion I'll gladly give them in return!
