About Bea

ABOUT ME: Bea is a wonderful 6 year old girl that is looking for a place to spend her golden years. She is a sweet, affectionate girl, and although she's short in stature, she's long on love to give. Bea loves hanging out with her people, playing with squeaky toys, and spending time with her best friend, Bodie, who is also available for adoption. WHAT I NEED IN A HOME: Because of her gentle, loving nature, we think Bea would be fine in a home with kids. This lovely lady lives with her old pal Bodie, and even though he's much bigger than she is, Ms. Bea is definitely the boss. Based on their interaction, we think that Bea would do best in a home with a large, more submissive dog. We haven't seen Bea with smaller dogs, but we think she would probably be fine after a slow, proper introduction. Bea barks at the barn cat whenever it comes to visit, so we can't say for sure how she would do living with one in a home. THE DETAILS: Bea is housebroken, knows how to use a dog door and is learning basic commands. She is vaccinated, spayed, heartworm negative and microchipped. Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting.
