About Shelton

Adoption Fee: $295
Lab / Great Dane
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Meet Shelton! DOB 8/20/16 Current weight 70lbs. Lab/Boxer/Great Dane Mix My name is Shelton and I came to Illinois from Kentucky with my country music brothers and sisters last year. I need to find a new forever family because my current family is working long hours and needs to crate me 9+ hours each day. I am great in my crate, but I really, really need more time to run and just be a dog. I would love to have a family that will keep me exercised and be around more often...maybe even run in the yard with me! I did rip apart the dog bed they put in my crate|but I was bored, so what else to do?? I also love to destroy fluffy toys, so antlers and strong Kong Balls are better choices for me. I'm looking for a best friend to share some adventures with. I love spending time outside with people and other dogs. I am fully housebroken and I get along well with kids, other dogs. Although I am a big guy, I am full of kisses and cuddles and just like any other loving pup, at the end of the day, there is nothing that I like better than a good belly rub! Come meet me and see how much fun I am in person! Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Please email [email protected] for an application or additional details. Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed. Please consider becoming a foster home while you search for your new best friend. We need foster homes - pounds are overflowing with puppies and adult dogs that are at-risk and need help. We can only rescue as many as we have foster home commitments. Fostering is a rewarding experience for your family.
