About Miya

Miya is 10 years old (DOB 5/8/07) and approximately 40 lbs. She was rescued from the Humane Society at two months old. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations. She is believed to be a beagle/pitbull mix. Her best fit is in a home without young children. She does really well with other dogs. Miya is a loving and loyal dog. She shows her affection through quick slobbery licks to those she encounters. Miya's favorite thing to do is nap. Especially, in a nice cool room. If you allow, she will lay above your head and keep it warm throughout the night. Miya loves walks and hikes. You can immediately tell her excitement when these events happen by the look (smile) on her face and prancing around at the door. Miya responds quickly to commands and can learn new tricks very easily. When she was a puppy, Miya thoroughly enjoyed bike rides, as it allowed her to run freely and at a fast pace. Miya has been in a 3-dog household since she was a puppy. She also gets along well when meeting new dogs. She has never been around any other type of animal (i.e. cats).
