Not only does Emily have a personality that is basically always so happy to see you, but she actually 'smiles' when she gets excited! She scrunches up her little face and it is so adorable! She is a non-stop wiggle! She couldn't be any sweeter if she tried! She is about 5 years old and is spayed. Emily's temperament with people is just phenomenal. She is so handleable and loves to be near you. She does wonderful with understanding being house-trained and she is not destructive when she is left out alone. Emily is an energetic girl and is learning manners from the kennel staff. Since being at the shelter, she's learned to sit and her leash-walking behavior is improving! She is very treat-motivated and learned quickly! Emily would do best if she was the only dog in the household. If the resident dog is calm and non-reactive, a slow introduction may be possible! We are still learning what she thinks about cats. Emily is a larger girl, so children around 12 and older would most likely be best for her. As you can see in her pictures, Emily truly loves life. She takes time to stop and smell the flowers but mostly prefers to just be near you. Come on in and visit this beautiful girl!
