About Indian Ringneck

20 year old Ringneck.(5 years past expectancy) In the startsta hurricane season, I am afraid I will not be able to evacuate him safely. Also I'm planning on relocating this year and will no be able to take him. Wings are not clipped, but he's not that interested in flying around, except to get to my shoulder and demand attention. Please do not respond if you have no experience with birds. He requires that special bird patience and attention. I don't feed him seed. millet and peanuts for treats. I share almost everything I eat. I keep pellets incase of emergency. I make his food. one big batch, I portion and freeze it. It's an easy recipe and costs about $7 for a 2 month batch. I recommend it for any hook bill. The lifespan of my ringneck is proof for that.
