About Lyla

Meet Lyla. What a doll this girl is! Lyla is a 2-year-old pittie mix who weighs about 45 pounds. She is a perfect medium size to go with her perfect medium energy. Lyla was surrendered to a local vet office because her family couldn't afford to care for her properly. Thankfully the clinic really had her best interest in mind, brought her up to date on all vetting, and placed her in a loving foster home. Lyla is a super loving, sweet girl who loves to just kind of hang out around her people. She would cuddle in her people's lap all day if time would allow. She does like to run around silly from time to to time, but she also loves to be lazy, nap, and chew on her bones. Her favorites toys are tennis balls and sticks. ALL sticks. Lyla is very good girl who knows some basic commands and a couple party tricks--one of which is doing a handstand while going potty! Lyla has been around dogs smaller than she is and has done very well. She has never been around dogs her size or larger. She is fostered with cats who don't really care that she exists; the feeling is mutual. As for kids, Lyla is pretty inexperienced from what we can tell. She gets very nervous around kids and doesn't even want to approach. We think adult-sized humans are the best fit for Lyla. Perhaps over time with slow introductions, she could learn to love kiddos too. Lyla is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
