About Minksy

Adoption Fee: 75
Maine Coon / Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Hi! My name is Minksy. I was trapped as a feral kitten near Ft Campbell, KY & brought back to Murfreesboro, TN by a nice lady veterinarian who combo tested & spayed me & did this ear tip thing. (it was supposed to be left ear, but they accidentally did right ear instead) They thought I would have to be put back where I came from, but Ms Tana thought I was still young enough to tame. And I was. I'm glad I did not have to go back to surviving outside. It was scary. Now I'm 5 yrs old - really sweet & affectionate, love to play, like to sleep on the bed with my purrson, am ok with dogs who are cat-friendly (Ms Tana wonders if dogs raised me in the wild because I sometimes tend to like them more than other cats) - think of me as a petite Maine Coon mix look. My fur is silky textured, so does not mat much like some other longer haired cats. I love, love, love toys, & I like to learn to talk to and with my human companion. I really bond to those I love & am a fraidy cat in new surroundings & meeting new people. Ms Tana says my face is simply precious and that you could not help falling in love with me if you give me a chance. Like most other rescue kitties at Feline Felicity, we have not had any exposure to human babies or small children, so would likely not do well with them. Although I have a crazy playful fun side, I am very gentle & fairly timid overall. As time goes by & I am having issues with some of the other cats in the rescue, multi-cat environment, I think I would most likely prefer to be an only feline member of the family. And dogs -- as long as they are laid back and not crazy hyper k9s, I will get along fine with them.
