About Hansi

Hello there! My name is Hansi, and I'm just the friendliest, cutest 35-pound blue merle Bassett Hound/ Bluetick Coonhound mix gal who was born in November 2009. I'm a total sweetheart who loves hanging out with my people. I'm best with adults and older children; honestly, the young grandkids made me a bit nervous. I'm fine with dogs who are at least my size or larger, but I probably shouldn't be added to a home with a smaller dog because I may try to dominate the little tyke. Incidentally, I've never been around cats except from behind a fence. Nothing thrills me more than hunting for the birds and squirrels in the back yard -- and sometimes I catch them! I could very likely be trained for hunting if you like that sort of thing. I guess you're wondering why I need to find a new home. Well, I was adopted from Buster's Friends in 2010 by a couple who now are moving to a retirement home, and the new place doesn't allow pets. No worries, I know there's a new family out there who is made to order for an adorable, loving girl like me. I'm in perfect health, so there's no stopping you from coming by to meet me today! Hansi is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm tested. Her adoption fee is $150, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends.
