About Thaddeus Maximus

This stunning hunk of love is Thaddeus Maximus. Thad is a Saint Bernard and Catahoula mix. He is house and kennel trained and about 2 years old. He's an absolute love. A GIANT puppy. However he has some stranger danger issues. His issue is a compounded problem. He's obese, and he's not getting enough exercise, in addition he is territorial of his home. He is fine with people when introduced slowly. We have ordered a Baskerville Muzzle to help with this issue but it would be amazing if someone was willing to foster him or adopt him so he could truly get settled. His current foster has a LOT of other dogs and he's just not getting the attention that he needs. He needs a calm house without people in and out where he can chillax and learn that people = LOVE. We are absolutely willing to help with the cost of a trainer to help him to transition well. When we got him he had previously live with 2 bossy Dachshunds and a couple cats, however since he has been in our care he has come rather dog reactive so we are working with him on this, we believe that this is something he will easily overcome but if at first he could be an only dog that would probably be best.
