About Barry

Barry was dumped at a rural shelter in 2016. He has been in foster care since this time. He needs to be fed separately from other dogs. He does not exhibit food aggression towards people, only animals as we believe he had to fight for food previously. He does not like 'cat size' dogs, but is good with all other dogs. He does love to play and jump so he will need a home with kids 10yrs or older or an owner who can help train him to behave more calmly around small children. His most favorite thing is to just run around outside and explore. He would love to live on a FARM or in the country! He does well on a leash and in the car and he understands 'sit', and takes treats well. Barry has waited a long time for his forever home!
