Elvis is a very loving, affectionate, and submissive English bulldog. He is fairly low energy (even for a bulldog) but he does have his occasional spurts of energy when he likes to play. He enjoys chewing on bones, chasing after a ball once in a while, and he has his favorite dragon he likes to carry around and care for as if it is his child. He hasn't had any issues chewing shoes but has chewed on some wooden kid's blocks. We have 4 young children all 6 years and under and Elvis does absolutely great with all of them. Elvis is current on all vaccinations as of July 2017. He does not have any health issues other than his somewhat sensitive skin (typical of a bulldog). He can get some itchy spots in the folds of his face near his nose and in between his toes. This is easily treated with a topical ointment up to 2x daily as needed and 50 mg of Benadryl. He is also current on his monthly heartworm, flea, and tick treatment. As with all bulldogs, he does require routine maintenance to avoid skin problems and health problems. His feet, face folds, and under his tail need cleaned off a couple times a week with some antimicrobial and antibacterial wipes. He needs bathed at least every other week with antimicrobial medicated shampoo to soothe his skin and prevent bacterial growth in his skin folds and under his tail. It's simple and only takes a few minutes every few days. He gets along well with other dogs for the most part, but it would be more beneficial for him to be adopted into a family without a current pet so that he can receive the attention he deserves. Previous ownership of a bulldog is a must.
