About Chester

Chester was found in a trash bin. The body of his mother who had been killed by a car was nearby. He was only 2 weeks old when orphaned. He has been bottle fed and cared for by shelter volunteers. He is a pretty ginger and white boy with big PussnBoots eyes. Turned 6 mon old on Jan 3. His adoption fee is $25. More photos in Comments. Adoption of all dogs/cats requires an approval process to ensure that they are going into a home appropriate for their needs and that will keep them safe. Each is loved and nurtured by our staff and volunteers during their stay with us and each is placed with same due diligence that they would be given if they were our own four legged family members. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter which provides quality care, spay/neuter-all vaccines, deworming, vet exam, standard disease testing and for dogs-monthly heart worm prevention treatment. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are primarily owner relinquished and also accepted from local Animal Control.
