Savannah (about 9 months old as of 12/7) is a spayed female black short-haired kitten. She was rescued from the streets of Waukegan at a young age and raised in foster care. Savannah is a strange little girl who looks like a much younger kitten thanks to her small size but acts like a senior cat. She isn't very needy at all and is very independent for such a young kitten. She loves to be petted and has the loudest purr, but generally she squirms when you hold her and prefers to tackle life on her own 4 feet. All she needs to be happy is lots of belly rubs, a few treats, and ideally a cat friend to keep her company; mostly just for cuddles. As a less crazy, lower energy kitten Savannah can keep up with most of our other kittens her age okay but would also be a great less annoying little sister for an older kitty. Our adoption fee for kittens 6-12 months old is $100, which includes them getting fixed, microchipped, tested for FIV and FeLV, and up to date on vaccines. If you would like to meet a variety of our kittens, many not listed here yet, please check out our regular adoption events, Sundays from 12-4 at the Vernon Hills Petco.
