Scamper #17505- Scamper has found her way back into our rescue but by no fault of her own. The family that adopted her loved her very much, but their other dog did not. After a few trips to the vet for stitches after being bit by the other dog, the family decided their home wasn't the right fit. Scamper is a very sweet girl who loves to play with the other dogs, and cats, in her current foster home. She loves to run around the back yard and have the other dogs chase her and she loves to keep a look out for the squirrels and lizards. One of her favorite games inside the house is tug-of-war with dog toys and the other dogs. At night, Scamper loves to snuggle up next to her foster mom and watch TV. She is still a little weary of men, but she is getting a lot better about that. When Scamper was first in our foster program, her original owner reached out to let us know that they couldn't afford to keep her anymore and that's how she ended up in the shelter. The owner told us that she was a Cocker Spaniel/Blue Lacy mix and that she was born on 7/13/15. Scamper has now been spayed and is current on all of her vaccinations and heartworm preventative. Scamper has been bounced around quite a bit in her young life and deserves a home where she will be loved and kept for the rest of her life. If you are looking for a little sweetheart who would love to be by your side, please consider meeting Scamper today. Contact foster mom Beth at BethPizzuto@hebisd.edu for more information!
