About Josie

MEET JOSIE!! Josie is an amazing 3.5 year old black and tan German Shepherd female that came to us from the Moreno Valley shelter in CA. This girl is a high energy working line German Shepherd that needs a family/adopter who is willing to put the time and effort needed to keep a dog like this happy. Josie has training in basic commands, does well on a leash and rides great in a car. She has an abundance of energy and would do great with an extremely active family or someone that wants to train her for sport. Josie has spent several months with a police department being trained for scent work. Due to no fault of her own, she finds herself back at the rescue. Josie would do best in a family with no other animals. She has a high prey drive and would absolutely not do well around small dogs or cats. She can be rather protective and therefore needs additional work around other dogs. In her previous home, Josie played well with their young son. Josie is currently UTD, microchipped, HW-, will be on flea/tick/HW preventative spayed prior to adoption. Adoption fee $400.
