About Rizzo

Hello, my name is Rizzo. I am around 10 months old! We think I am a shepherd mix, but I am a little bit small and only weight about 40lbs :) I was brought into the vet's office by some very kind firemen who found me wandering the streets hungry and scared. I am in foster care now and it's soooo much better, but I am really looking for my forever family. I am young and healthy. I love to run, play and splash in the water. I also love hugs, ear scratches and tummy rubs. I'm a little nervous and coward down sometimes, but my sweet foster Mom pets me and talks to me softly and I know everything is gonna be ok. I get along great with other dogs, I haven't been around those curious creatures called cats, but I would probably like them. I love kids, they love to run and play like me. I walk on a leash pretty good and I can sit when you ask me. I would make a great addition to a family with an active lifestyle! I am currently located down South at our sister shelters and available for pre-adoption. They do transports to NJ once a month. I hope I am what you are looking for, all I want is a loving, kind family to give my heart to.
