About Sammie

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats. Sammie ~Sponsored Fee~'s Story... Meet Sammie! He is a 5 years old (we estimate) hound mix weighing in around 55lbs. People love him so much that he's been sponsored and has a lowered adoption fee to help him find his forever family. Sammie is a laid back guy who is an excellent buddy. He's the perfect age - he's past the puppy stage, but still loves a chew toy. He doesn't chew on things you don't want him to - like furniture, shoes, his foster siblings, etc. He does run around the back yard and plays with my dog who's about the same size and age. He likes to run around and sniff for a few moments then calms down and goes to lay under a tree. He's low energy and would be great for someone looking for companionship but doesn't need their canine BFF to be 'attached at the hip'. Sam likes people, but he also likes to go lay down and rest by himself. He startles easily when he's asleep and little kids don't understand, so he'd do best in a home that doesn't have small kiddos that just want to love on him! He's good with older kids and likes them, as long as they aren't quiet ninjas walking around him when he's sleeping. He loves sleeping. A lot. He also gets along great with other dogs. He's so easy-going, he barely notices them and falls into the pack. He's very food motivated and will follow you anywhere if you have a treat. He's house-trained and crate-trained. He gets crated when he's left alone while I run errands and overnight when he's sleeping. This fantastic boy can be yours for an adoption fee of $175 and a ton of belly rubs!
