Jordan is a 3 year old Lab mix. He is such a kind hearted, wonderful, loving boy! He is anxious to please you and wants to do the right thing. He is very curious about new noises and smells but if you just tell him to 'leave it' he listens and walks away. He is very loving and will give hugs, likes to cuddle sometimes but also doesn't mind being on his own. At first he was kenneled every time we left the house but after seeing how well he does while we are at home we are comfortable leaving him out in the house. He just curls up somewhere and sleeps until we get home. He has never had any potty accidents inside. At night he either sleeps in his kennel (which he doesn't mind at all) or on a blanket on our bedroom floor. He is a good sleeper! When he is out for the night HE IS OUT!!! Jordan is great with our 3 year old granddaughter. He usually just checks her out as soon as she arrives and then leaves her alone. He isn't a 'licker' either. Jordan does great with our 6 year old Shitz Tzu who is somewhat of a grump. If Jordan invades too much on his territory and the little dog growls at him then Jordan just leaves him alone and walks away. I am not sure how Jordan is with cats. We have two of them but as soon as they saw Jordan he chased them and they hid for the rest of the stay. I don't think he wanted to harm them, just play, but they weren't having it. Jordan will learn many commands while in the training program. He is already a great dog but he will be even a better dog once his training is completed! Jordan is neutered, UTD on all his shots, HW, and FT. He has a microchip in case he gets lost and will require a standard fence to keep me safe. RPSM recommends homes with children 6 years and older.
