Meet Luce! Luce is 6 year-old 13 lb black and white Shih Tzu. Luce has had a rough past before entering foster care so he is sometimes slow to warm up to strangers, does not do well with taking his eye meds or being groomed (sedation seems to be the answer). Aside from that, he is an adorable little guy who loves his people. Luce is usually very affectionate once he gets to know someone. He is very playful, sweet, and loving. He's always happy, wagging his tail, and playing with toys. He loves being a lap dog and giving kisses. He has a good appetite and eats well. He loves to run around and explore his yard, but also can walk on his leash. He gets along fairly well with other dogs but not with cats. He likes a lot of attention and having his humans around. He's getting better at potty training and has fewer accidents if he's taken out regularly. He is neutered, up-to-date with shots, microchipped, and heart worm negative. He is in good health but does have some serious issues with his eyes. His vision is poor because of this. He needs eye medications daily, but does not like taking them. Luce's foster would like to see Luce in a home where Luce is the only dog. Luce will be a super dog for a loving patient family.
