About Easy

Easy is a dream! He's a stunning 7 year old English Springer Spaniel. Easy is a sensitive dog. He does not like change, loud noises, or rambunctious children. He gets nervous and will go hide. He also gets very shaky when nervous. He is a dream companion for a family who loves to play fetch and will take great care of him. A guardian who is compassionate and will enjoy their time with him. Lots of walks, and games of fetch, and allowing him to be his quirky self. We know Easy's past and know that he has had a great life and deserves an even better one. Easy is very obedient trained, an excellent retriever and the master of fetch. He has a phenomenal long coat that requires regular grooming and is very well built. Easy is respectful in the house, good with cats and other dogs. He is nervous with children under 5-ish years but handles it well by avoidance. He lives for older children that will play fetch with him. He doesn't jump on people, kennels up on command, car loads on command, heals exceptionally well, leashes beautifully, sits, corrects easily, isn't a barker, and is sensitive to correction (meaning a simple verbal correction suffices, anything more will shut him down and impede a trusting relationship). He needs and deserves a soft owner who is active and likes to go for walks, play fetch, go swimming, hiking, and doing dog stuff. Trips to places for snacks would be pretty cool too! A home with another dog would be ideal, preferably with his best buddy here named Phoenix. Easy is NOT a hunting dog. He has some weird quirks and we are looking for a quiet family that will love those quirks. He loves water. He is a hoarder and will take any toys into his crate, or any other object in his path. We weekly have to clean his crate out and find all kinds of treasures. He likes to shred his pillows, blankets, and toys as well in his crate. He's favorite possession in all the world is his food bowl and he will take it places with him. He also has a peculiar eating habit. He will pick up his food bowl and spin circles, spilling it everywhere, and then will clean it up to eat. He is a very special guy. Adoption fee is $175 A fenced yard is required and leash at all times when not securely fenced. Housetraining is not guaranteed. We work on crate training with all residents however expect the need for training any animal brought into a home.
