About Bean

MEET BEAN!! **NO DOGS or CATS** Bean is a handsome red German Shepherd mix that came to us from the Davidson County Animal Shelter in February 2017. As we were walking through the kennels to get another dog, he just caught our eye, sitting there so quietly, waiting...... We went back the next day and brought him to the rescue. And today, he continues to sit and wait.... for his forever family. Boy is this guy super sweet. He is curious and adapts well to new situations. Bean does NOT like other dogs. He will walk by other dogs when they are kenneled and even sniff noses with them. However, when there are no barriers between them, Bean is obviously not happy though he does correct well when on leash. Bean must go to a home with NO OTHER DOGS or CATS. This good looking is happy, playful and loves attention. He knows basic commands and even gives paw. He rides great in the car and is a good boy when at the vets office. Bean is crate train and house trained. We believe Bean is approximately 7 years old (as of Jan 2018) and cannot believe that he has been at the rescue for 2 years. He is up-to-date on all vaccines, neutered, microchipped, heart worm negative and on monthly preventative.
