YES, I'M AVAILABLE! Adoption application at www.aberdeenstr.com ***MUST SUBMIT APP before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thanks for your cooperation!*** Susie has a very sad tail. She was brought to our vets in CA to be euthanized because the people who had her had something very bad happen in the home & for the safety of Susie the landlady removed Susie from the situation & did not know what else to do with her. She had another dog friend in the home & we are trying to find out the whereabouts of the friend. Our vets said no she will not put Susie to sleep & said she would reach out to a rescue, she reached out to us & now Susie is with us. Susie is a Pomeranian who is very overweight at 14 lbs, she was shaved down from the landlady & her fur is usually long, she is 9 years old, spayed, we just got her a dental, chipped, up to date on her shots, heart worm negative, good with other dogs & people. If another dog gets up in her business too much, she may show her teeth to give a correction but otherwise is fine. Although she hasn't had any accidents in her foster home, please note we never guarantee a dog to be pottytrained. Every new home/environment/owner schedule is different and a dog needs time and patience to get into a routine. Susie is extremely sweet, walks well on a leash & is looking to spend the rest of her life cherished & loved. We do not know about children nor cats & we do not have a way to test either. Like most dogs in our rescue, Susie will need work on potty training. Susie has an adoption fee of $450 __________________________ **IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ** An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well. As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves. Our number one focus is finding these little loves a wonderful forever home with a family who is going to care for them and show them what it is like to be loved, a safe environment, a full belly and a warm bed. These sweet babies do not ask for much from you but they may require a little patience and understanding. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog We will contact you once we have received and reviewed your completed application. A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet can be scheduled. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
