Sir Toro appears to be a boxer/lab mix who was going to be put down in an over crowded shelter when his owner was unable to keep him. An animal control officer at the shelter contacted an animal advocate to please help save him. He had won her over with his funny personality. Thankfully, a very generous lady stepped up to help save him, and is sponsoring his boarding while he waits for his forever home. After getting to know Sir Toro, we realize that he is a very sweet dog, who loves people and enjoys playing ball, cuddling, and going for car rides. However, he has a tendency to want to guard his people, so if you have lots of company, he probably is not the dog for you. We feel it is best that he be adopted to a single person or couple without children. If you live alone, or want an inside dog who tends to be protective, then he might be a perfect fit for you. Sir Toro is house-trained, neutered, Heartworm negative and up to date on his vaccinations. He can be adopted only to a homeowner with a secure fence and no children. If you would like to meet him, please contact email@example.com.
