About NALA

NALA (dob: 03/25/15) was taken in by a young couple who realized that she was pregnant and had been abandoned in their community. After seeing the weaned pups running in the road, their mail carrier approached them to see if they wanted help finding good homes for the pups, and knows how diligent Howlin4Spirit is at screening for the right match for each dog who finds their way to our door. NALA has a genuinely sweet personality, is healthy and possesses a happy, fun demeanor. She walks well on a Gentle Leader and is housebroken and crate-trained. She is best suited for a home with a fenced-in yard, or rural setting with another medium)large fur-buddy to run and play with. Wants to be/enjoy life with her person and wants to please. Would make an excellent hiking/running buddy for an active person. NOT a couch potato, but enjoys snuggling with her people at the end of the day. Gets along well with other M)LG dogs...best with NO cats and no small people(too energetic at her young age, might knock them down). This pup is in and will remain in foster care in Rutherfordton, NC until the following SATURDAY after her fur-ever family/person is approved. Upon request, we will be happy to send you more videos and pictures of this pup interacting with her H4S buddies, to help you get a better understanding of their personality and activity level and how they interact with their people and other pups. Where there is a scent hound or guardian breed being considered for adoption, & in homes where children reside or will be visiting, a secured(not electric) fenced-in yard is required. All potential adopters are required to be at least 25 yrs old and complete the application below, at your earliest convenience, to help secure the pup of your choice. PLEASE, state 1st choice and 2nd choice pups! Upon receipt of your application, we will acknowledge your application in an email and immediately send out a questionnaire to your 3 personal references. To help your chances of adopting the pup of your 1st choice, be sure to contact/ask all references to reply at their most earliest convenience. Also, give your vet's office permission to release your information to Howlin4Spirit. We will be contacting everyone within 2 business days. Upon approval of this adoption, & to hold the dog/pup of your choice, we require the pup's adoption fee to be sent to our secure PayPal.com acct at: [email protected] Upon receipt of the adoption fee, we will send you the adoption contract and all pertinent information you will need to be ready for your pup's arrival, and reserve your pup's space on 'Save Them All' OR 'Happy Dogs' next available transport(SATURDAY delivery ONLY). Their transport fee is $100 to all points as far N as NYC and LI, and $125 to all points N of NYC as far as Manchester, NH and Albany/Syracuse, NY, to be paid directly to driver upon delivery.
