My name fits me well because I'm a sweetheart love-bug, according to my foster mom. I am pretty low energy but can hold my own with my foster brother, who is the same size as I am. I do love playing with him. We like to play tug-of-war and wrestle around together. After playing, I like to lie around in the sun on the porch. Sometimes people walk by the house and it is my job to bark at them. I'm told I could use some work in that area. Sometimes I find men scary until foster mom tells me they are friends, and then I'm good. I like to go for leash walks and don't pull foster mom too much but she thinks I could do better. Sometimes I'm like, 'Well, there are lots of things to sniff, you know, so let's get going!' Mostly I just like to amble along and explore all the wonderful smells. I am very, very good with my housetraining; that makes me feel pretty proud. I do need to be encouraged to go potty outside when it's raining, because I don't like wet feet. I am not a fan of my crate. I will tolerate it but I don't like going in it. My foster mom only uses it during storms and on nights she doesn't want me in her bed. I really do prefer sleeping on a bed or on a couch - who wouldn't? I'm described as sweet, easy-going, gentle and playful. If that sounds perfect to you, I'd love to meet you.
