About George

George is a large, handsome boxer mix that surrendered to us by his owner when they could no longer care for him. He lived inside so we believe he is housetrained. He is about 2 1/2 so is playful and energetic. George lived at the Department of Juvenile Justice Atlanta Youth Development Facility for 3 months and was trained by the youth there. He was chosen to participate by the Rescue 2 Restore program and selected for his outstanding temperament and willingness to learn. He has been through basic obedience training with the youth at the Atlanta YDC facility and is ready to find his forever home. George knows sit, down, stay, come, shake, and walks well on a leash.
