My name is Mary. Shortly after I was born someone cut off my ears and then dumped me in the trash. Then someone else found me and was turning me into the 700-dog high kill shelter when this lady named Phoebe rescued me. I could not walk and Phoebe thought that I was blind and deaf. That is the first time I knew Ilove and cuddling. And you know what? I'm not blind or deaf and I can walk perfectly fine now. In fact I have a pretty little strutt on my walk that looks like one of my parents was a fancy horse! Everyone that sees me walks gets a smile on their face. Phoebe loves me but she needs to rescue others that are in danger like I was so I REALLY need to find a home that will love me and take care of me forever. I promise to make you smile everyday and for you to say Mary Mary Quite Contrary! II will need a very patient adopter because Phoebe is all I know. Phoebe named me Mary because I was so little and calm. At first I am scared of strangers but if you give me a chance I warm up. Now, I have a little spice in me and I think the contrary part just makes me fun. I LOVE to snuggle and I know that I will be someone's best friend one day. Will you please find a spot in your heart for me? Text Phoebe at 319-471-0752.
