About Xena

LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY. Say hello to pretty little Xena. This baby was dumped at the shelter with 7 of her family members. They were all terrified in the shelter and because of that were labeled as 'vicious' and were set to be euthanized. We couldn't let that happen so we gave all of them their freedom ride. Xena is the last one left to find her forever home. Xena is a chi-weenie who is 2 years old and weighs about 10 pounds. She is microchipped, housebroken and is heartworm negative. She loves to play and run and does well with other dogs. We feel Xena would not be suitable for a home with young children, or cats, as she is still fearful and can sometimes be a little nippy. Xena needs a forever family that will understand her and give her the time, patience, and love that she needs to learn to trust. We know she will continue to learn and become the wonderful dog she wants to be. Are you willing to give her a chance?
