About Baron von Snarfles

It doesn't get any sweeter than Baron von Snarfles. This darling little Cattledog mix found himself in a shelter with a seriously bad case of Secondary Acanthuses NIgricans (or for those of us non-medical types- long term neglect left his hair and skin in horrible shape). Now he is healing, his charming personality is coming out, and he is looking for a forever home who is willing to love him as his hair finishes growing in. Snarfles is between 7-9 years old and weighs about 30 pounds. He is a gentle, low key boy who is a social butterfly. He loves everyone that he meets: people, dogs, and cats. He even likes the vet! Baron von Snarfles is a very nice boy in the house. He is house and crate trained. He adores people and loves to cuddle and be held. Heck, he is even looks dashing in a sweater. Don't let that calm demeanor fool you. He is a smartie pants. He knows his name and comes when called. He is working on sit and stay. As for food, that is his special pleasure. He will do anything for food. He can hear a treat bag open from the other side of the house and will bark to let you know that he wants one immediately! If you want a fun little buddy who will root for your sports team, hang out with you on the couch, and snack with you, this guy is your dog. That said, he is wonderful on leash and great in a car. So, when it's time to work off the calories from eating snacks, he is ready to keep you company on walks and hikes. Mostly, Snarfles is looking for an amazing home who will see the beauty in his heart. He adores attention and is almost surprised when he gets it. He blossoms more every day and will be a fantastic pal for someone. Snaffles is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is available to meet potential adopters in Southern CA, since he is a beach weather kind of guy. A home visit and vet reference are required.
