did you ever really want to rescue a dog who needed help? she certainly didn't enjoy a fortunate life, she was owned by drug addicts who had a severely disabled baby. They left the baby and Gina in a dark room together, living on crackers for 2 years. Lucky was the baby's friend, protector and companion. The baby was taken away by the state and Gina was left behind. She was attacked by another dog at some point in her life causing slight facial palsy which leaves her with a menacing expression. Gina is content and happy for anything you give her, any small amount of attention, she is quiet, and well trained. she never has accidents in the house, and she destroys nothing ever. she is affectionate and grateful, she can be protective if she feels her beloved person is being threatened. she loves to play and is in excellent health. she gets along with some dogs but would prefer if she could have a home where she is the only one. She almost didn't live because of the strange look in her face, caused from the palsy, but once you know her you would understand how loving and awesome she is. everyone passes her over. she just needs one special person to see her heart which is made of pure gold. please contact audrey for adoption information. 484-844-0374
