'Ellie' Plott Hound mix Age 8 Ellie Hi my name is Ellie and I I've been homeless for a long time now. Going on years actually. I am one of the forgotten, the one nobody wants because I am older, I Was adopted from the shelter by a kind lady but when she brought me home I didn't get along with her cats so she gave me to a rescue and hopes that I would find a forever family. I was hopeful that first but it's been about two years and still no one has come for me. I'm an older girl, about eight years old and I'm not in the shape I used to be. I still love to run and play and I'm a big puppy at heart but I can feel my body slowing down. I would love a home where I can snuggle on the couch all day long. I would do best and only pet home with no small children. I do really great in my crate but would love a home where I wouldn't have to be in one. I would love to retire with someone who is already retired but that's not a requirement! Small children make me nervous so I would do best in a home with no children or just older children who understand that I'm an older girl. I am heartworm negative and fully vetted. Adoption fee is waived to an approved adopter. I would make a great companion for someone who is lonely and needs a fur-baby to love on.
