**Lexi has separation anxiety-she MUST go to a home where either there are people home 24/7 or there is at least one other dog in the home and people are home almost always. She would make an excellent service/emotional support dog as she is very friendly and extremely intelligent. She would love to be someone's constant companion. Adoption fee will be 100% refunded if/when she completes training. GREAT GIRL!!! $250 adoption donation Lexi is a chubby SWEET 6 yr old cockapoo. She was surrendered to the shelter because her owner could not afford medical care for her. When we rescued Lexi she immediately went to our veterinarian and was whisked into surgery--she had 5 LARGE bladder stones making her unable to urinate. While under anesthesia she also had a dental cleaning. Lexi's stones were strictly from untreated infection. She does not need to be on special food, but does need to have her urine monitered a few times a year to make sure there is no infection. Lexi has spent a few months in foster care being monitored by our vet, and was just given a clean bill of health! Our vet believes that she is not prone to infections, but was just left untreated for so long, causing the infection to become very severe. Lexi is SOOO sweet, happy, loves EVERYONE she meets--dogs, cats, people, even kids!!! She knows the doggy door, walks well on a leash and loves affection. The one thing she does not like is to be left alone--she would do well in a busy household with lots of people and/or animals and someone home almost always. She is SUCH a dream dog!!!!
