About Cori

Cori is about 5 years old and is mixed breed (possibly cattle dog mix?) who is about 50 pounds. She was saved from a high kill shelter in New Mexico before being euthanized for space. Cori returned to the rescue after being adopted into a loving home for about a year because her owner passed away due to cancer. We feel she has mourned his loss and is ready to move on; we are looking for her forever home. She is being fostered in Cheyenne, WY. She is smart, crate trained, food motivated, walks well on a leash, and will make a great addition to a family. She is a quirky dog who wags her tail up and down as opposed to side to side, and there is never a dull moment with her! We do feel she will do best in a fairly calm home with a very stable routine. She is a home-body and also needs owners who are home a lot as that is what she is used to. She is spayed, current on vaccines, dewormed, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
