GRETEL was found running as a stray with her brother, Hansel. She is 1 year old, loves other dogs, and is good with cats. She loves toys and playing outside. She will be spayed prior to adoption. She has grown up in the shelter and saw her brother get adopted and leave her here alone. She tested light positive for heartworms but is currently on prevention and would be an excellent candidate for slow kill treatment. Heartworms are NOT a death sentence and the cost to treat is NOT what it used to be! Please don't discount her because she is heart worm positive. Her adoption fee is significantly decreased due to length of stay at the shelter and her heart worm status.
