Brownie was very poorly treated before coming to Freedom Farm. Left outside on a chain with another dog, Brownie was afraid of humans and his face was scarred from the other dog attacking him. He was emaciated too and we discovered he had worn his front teeth down some from trying to gain his freedom by chewing his way off his chain. Now at Freedom Farm, he is thriving! He loves to be by our sides at all times, loves playing with other dogs, loves giving licks and is extremely playful. Brownie is on the smaller side, around 35 pounds so is a perfect size. He's also crate trained. He's just an over all great dog despite all he has been through. It always amazes us how dogs find the will to forgive. Sadly however, we found out he is heart worm positive. Another blow for such a young dog. Luckily he's with us and received excellent vet care and got rid of the heart worms. Brownie is looking for his forever home so if you could find it in your heart to open your home to this special boy, you will be forever rewarded by his sweet disposition and loving nature. If interested in possibly meeting this dog, please go to www.freedomfarmrescue.com and fill out an online application. We just like to know a little about you prior to setting up a meet and greet. If they are listed here, they are available.
