This lovely 1 1/2 year old buff and white girl has had an unfairly long shelter stay due to stiff competition from kittens! She is very anxious to leave for her True Home! Everyone at the shelter loves Pheona. She's so playful, imaginative and inventive. Like the smallest kittens she's taken a back seat to! All the kitten anyone could hope for is here. Pheona has a story to tell! She was taken the vet for testing and spaying. Her felv/fiv/ test came back very weakly positive for felv antibodies. The vet felt sure within a few weeks she would test negative. Alas, this was not to be. Little Pheona once again tested a faint positive. Now she has to try to be adopted with this stigma attached to her, poor kitty! This sweetheart of the shelter needs to have an understanding Hero. She's perfectly well and does not have leukemia. Given the great state of her health, it is most likely she is a dormant carrier. Please read all the good info out there on the many ways a positive Felv test can affect a kitty and please step up for this kitty who wants to finally be give the chance to go home. (if given the chance to get a temporary foster home this will give us time to find her a permanent home). If Pheona is blessed enough to get that great adopter, her adoption fee will be sponsored. It will be a Win Win! See more Pheona pics and a video on our website.
