We watched as tony got hit by a car and the man who was walking with him didn't bother to go get him, instead he left with the man who hit him. This made us believe he had actually been stolen by that man and we went to get the dog and started searching for his owner. We have had many people searching data bases, rescues, shelters, ads listing lost pets but cannot locate his owner. We have spent several months looking but now it is time for him to get a home. He responds to basic commands, is an absolute doll but the girl who has been fostering him has small dogs and is afraid to let him around them because he does show alpha tendencies and she does not want her dogs hurt. He has to stay kenneled unless the other dogs are contained and he is also too much for her to handle by herself so he really needs to go soon. Potential homes for him will be screened very carefully to make sure he goes to the right place. He has shown no aggression to other large dogs but doesn't like to be bothered by small ones.
