About Aki

Adoption Fee: $325
Australian Shepherd mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

MEET AKI!! Aki, which means Autumn in Japanese, is a beautiful 4 year old, brown and white, female Australian Shepherd mix that comes to us from the York County, SC shelter where she was found as a stray. This girl was obviously well cared for as she has a beautiful coat, trimmed nails and is a little over weight. Aki was adopted and lived with a family for 6 months. However, JLGSR got a phone call from someone stating they had found her roaming the streets. Once the rescue learned that Aki was left outside unattended daily while her family was at work, she was brought back to the rescue and is now looking for a family once again. Aki is a total love bug that wants nothing more than to have a family to call her own. With those piercing blue eyes and gentle manners, she is sure to steal the heart of anyone that gets near her. Aki gets along well with other dogs as long as they are not too pushy. She is playful and loving, always willing to give up that belly for some scratches. This girl has the most incredible smile and is beyond happy to see her people. She is content to lay at your feet and take a nap or go out for a walk. She is housebroken, walks well on a leash, crate trained, knows basic commands. Aki is UTD, microchipped, spayed, HW-, and on flea/tick/HW preventative. Adoption Fee $325. If you are interested in adopting AKI or any of the other JLGSR dogs, fill out our online application at www.jettslegacy.com/adoption-application.html. NOTE: You must have an approved application on file prior to setting up a meet and greet.
