About Esperanza

Hello world! Espe is the name and being perfect is my game. Everyone who meets me and hangs out with me says I'm move in ready! I only chew on my toys and want to do what you're doing. Cuddling on the couch and going for walks are two of my favorite things. And treats...I'll do anything for treats! I'm an expert at sitting, shaking hands when I meet people, and laying down. Because I'm so good I get to go to fancy events and be an advocate for our rescue and am such a good girl. There are hundreds of people in the rooms and it's very loud but I just sit and shake peoples hands and give kisses! I'm also kennel trained though momma leaves me out all day and I never mess in the house. I have A LOT of love to give and like I mentioned lots of snuggles to be had. I would prefer though to be your whole world and not share the house with any other pets. I don't react to other dogs when we are out walking and am the perfect companion on a leash! I recently heard the song 'I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas' and thought I would write my own version of what I want most for Christmas! Can I please come home with you? I want a loving family for Christmas Only a loving family will do Don't want a bone, no yummy smelly bone I want a loving family to play with and enjoy I want a loving family for Christmas I don't think Santa Claus will mind, do you? He won't have to use a dirty chimney flue Just come to the adoption center That's the easy thing to do I can see me now on Christmas morning Cuddling with you Oh what joy, what surprise When I open up my eyes To see my own family standing there I want a loving family for Christmas Only a loving family will do No squeaky toys, no chewy bones I only want cuddles and kisses And I'll give cuddles and kisses too Esperanza is a Female Pit Bull Terrier Mix that we estimate to be born around June 16, 2016 and weighs 50 lbs. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If you are interested in adopting a puppy, please fill out an application on our website http://www.k-9angelsrescue.org/k9_angels_rescue_adoption_process.html. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
