Sarai (Hebrew for princess) had been out near a toll plaza for a couple of weeks in mid July and after many attempts she was finally caught and we took her into rescue. It hasn't been an easy road trying to get her vetted and spayed as she's not fond of strangers or vets but we finally had success today! Sadly she is HW+ so she will need treatment for that. We are also looking into a special trainer and/or behavioralist consult to help us work thru her issues with meeting new humans. With her foster family she is very sweet and a smart girl. She is going into the crate better, knows to go to back door to potty and is curious about kitties but so far so good there.
