Dawson, is a Thoroughbred gelding born in 1994 and stands at 16 hands. He is a former lesson horse that came to Freedom Hill Horse Rescue (FHHR) in 2015 when he was retired from a rigorous lesson and jumping program. Dawson has a wonderful temperament and has been a wonderful new partner in the Equine-Assisted Learning and educational programs at the rescue. He is fun to ride, knows it all, and has done it all. He requires an intermediate level rider as he can get strong at the canter. He can W/T/C. Due to his previous years as a lesson horse, he would be best suited to a non-jumping home. An occasional small fence is fine. He requires weight builder or rice bran added to his grain and hoof supplements but is otherwise very healthy!
