About Abby

Hello. My name is Abby. I'm a small Lab mix, 4 years old, and I am searching for someone to love me. I would do best in an adult-only home. I survived horrible conditions for a long time at a dog 'sanctuary' in Chaparral, NM that was closed in September 2013. I still have the scars and only half of a tail. Rescuers found me, gave me a warm bed and good food. I am currently living in a foster home with some other nice dogs. I am good with some dogs and walk well on leash with familiar people. I am still uncomfortable until I get to know you, so I need patience and understanding. I am already spayed and I have all my vaccinations. I love toys, especially balls, naps in a warm bed, and I sit nicely for treats.
