About Rayna

Rayna is s super friendly and playful Lab Cattle Dog mix. She weighs 45 lbs. Rayna is quite active and loves to play and go for walks. She loves playing fetch. Rayna does settle down nicely and she's calm in her kennel. She is moderately vocal but is super appropriate when she wants to play- like when it's time to go outside- so she wouldn't be a good match for someone living in an apartment or multiple unit housing too. Rayna was given up by her owners who were too elderly to care for her. She acts fine with other dogs when walking on a leash but we've been told that she can be kind of choosy about her doggie friends so she'll need a proper dog introduction which we perform on-site at our facility. She likes to be the boss, so a submissive dog is best for her to co-habitate with or no dog at all. If you have a dog, we'd ask you to make an appointment to bring your dog in to meet Rayna. Her prior veterinarian said that Rayna has had 4-5 seizure a year in recent years, but that she requires no medication at this time. Lot's of blood work has been done already & she is in great health. We have managed it with low stress & meeting her needs. You would NEVER believe this beauty is a senior! She is 8-9 years old & ready for you to sit in the recliner & toss a ball for her or take her to the yard for a few rounds of fetch. Interested?
